8-DAYS KENYA MAGNIFICENT MAASAI MARA NAIVASHA NAKURU AMBOSELI KENYA SAFARI

Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara

You will be picked from the city hotel after breakfast and taken through the briefing and drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve. Drive through the rift valley with a stopover at the view point. Proceed to Narok town where you will have your Lunch and then hit the road to Masai Mara National Reserve arriving in the evening. Upon arrival check in Miti Mingi Eco camp and then proceed for evening game drive. Expect to see a wide range of wildlife in this beautiful Eco-system. Drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Maasai Mara -extensive drive

After hearty breakfast with your picnic Lunches you will be picked by your driver guide and proceed for an extensive game drive exploring the vastness of this wildlife haven. Expect to see zebras, antelopes, cheetah, Elephants and wildebeests in large numbers. Break for your lunch at the picnic site near the Mara river Hippo pool as you such for the hippos. Masai Mara is perceived for having the highest concentrations of wildlife as compared to other reserves hence making it ideal tourist destination in Africa. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 3: Explore the wonders of Maasai Mara

Leave the camp in the morning to explore the majestic wild plains of the Masai Mara game reserve. The game reserve is packed with huge herds of elephants, zebras, rhinos, and all kinds of games throughout the year with the spectacular wildebeest migration from Serengeti occurring mainly in July and August. Being at Maasai Mara is “as if you found yourself in the New York of the natural world according to some authorities”. Indeed you have the best opportunity of seeing all the big five. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
On this day, an optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 420.

Day 4: Maasai Mara -Lake Nakuru

Early breakfast, then head to an amazing interaction experience with the Masai people at the Masai Village . The adventure continues on to the Lake Nakuru, one of the most beautiful parks in Africa, widely known as a bird paradise and a Rhino sanctuary. You arrive in the evening, for a chance to have a short game drive in the Lake Nakuru and later a relaxing evening at the Hotel Citymax.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru -Lake Naivasha

After your breakfast, your guide will pick you from the hotel and head to the Lake Nakuru National Park for an extensive game drive. This park is a bird lover’s paradise; over 400 species of birds have been recorded here. The pink flamingos paint the lake shores a vivid pink color, contrasting the black and white stripes of the zebras grazing around the lake. Tree climbing lions can be seen on the tree branches, staring at your safari vehicle. The endangered white and black rhinos pass by your safari van before they walk on. Looking closely at the trees, you will spot the antelopes, giraffes, and gazelles. Later we will exit the park and head to Naivasha with lunch en-route. Arriving in the late afternoon, we will check-in to our hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the Taphe guest resort.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha(Hell’s Gate National Park – Amboseli

Early breakfast, then proceed to the Hell’s Gate National Park. This is the only park where you can take a bicycle ride as you see the animals. You can hire a bicycle and follow the zebra trails as you see other animals. You can also do rock climbing here and hiking around the Hell’s Gate Gorges. At the end of the game drive, you can cap off your safari experience with a boat ride at the Lake Naivasha as you marvel at the Hippos. Later we will leave Lake Naivasha and head to Amboseli, with lunch en-route. Upon arrival, you will check-in to the tented camp.

Day 7: Extensive game drive at Amboseli National Park

A full day of game drives in this park will showcase the large numbers of wildlife easily found bathing in the swamps found here. Amboseli National park gives a beautiful safari experience and breath-taking scenery as you watch the elephants and buffalo roam at the base of Mt Kilimanjaro. Apart from the elephants; you will also encounter cheetahs, Zebras, hyenas, and many others. You will have your picnic lunch in a shade in the park and then continue with the afternoon game-viewing. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Amboseli National park- Nairobi

Early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for a hot breakfast. Later we will drive back to Nairobi or you can decide to proceed to Mombasa for a beach holiday by road. We will drop you off at Emali to board a bus to Mombasa, or at the airport to get you on a connecting flight to Mombasa.
